Leighton Beach
A great place to stop for a coffee on our cycle. Coffee was good. The only issue was that the coffee was too hot!

Beautiful Clean beach, nice waves for surfing lessons , nice sand and no litter at all. Just beautiful for the whole family.

Stunning beach, ocean blue-green colour with white sand. Infra with shower and available parking. Good for families as well.

Great family beach and the edition of the long mat running almost from the change rooms to the foreshore is a fantastic idea.Change rooms and outdoor showers are excellent.

Very pleasant swimming, great change rooms, nicely equipped with showers that stay on for a decent length of time and real mirrors, yay! Also great amenities right next to the beach, cafes and restaurants. The beach itself is nicely wide, and very gently sloping. Not a surf beach, it is generally very calm water.

Went there after a swim at Leighton Beach. Was quite pleased that the toilets and rest areas adjacent were in the process of being renovated to add considerably to the the number of toilets, particularly for women, which has been very substandard since the place was first constructed 15 years ago.The food we had and the coffee we enjoyed was excellent. The counter service was prompt and friendly. The sitting area is somewhat spartan but I enjoyed the sun that came down on the area which is quite protected from the prevailing south westerly and easterly winds.

Excellent settings. Big grassed area behind the 1st dune. The Orange Box is a great place for breakfast or lunch (closes 3pm)Wide range of light food options. Great coffee. Follow with a swim & a lie on the sand. Showers & changerooms. Wheelchair beach access.
